At Empathy Hearing Aid Center, we believe hearing care should fit your lifestyle—not the other way around. As a mobile hearing practice, we bring professional hearing care directly to your home, senior living community, workplace, or other approved location, eliminating the need to travel to a traditional hearing clinic.
Receiving care in your everyday environment provides several unique advantages. Not only is it more convenient and comfortable, but it also allows us to better understand the listening situations you experience every day. Whether you're struggling to hear conversations in your living room, talking on the telephone, or watching television, we can make recommendations and programming adjustments based on your real-world listening environment.
Mobile hearing care is especially beneficial for individuals with mobility challenges, limited transportation, busy schedules, or anyone who simply values the convenience of receiving professional care at home. Family members and caregivers are also welcome to participate in appointments, making it easier for everyone to understand your hearing needs and support your journey toward better hearing.
Our goal is to make hearing care more convenient, more personal, and more accessible—allowing you to spend less time traveling and more time enjoying the people and moments that matter most.
Absolutely! That's what makes Empathy Hearing Aid Center different.

Yes! We understand that hearing aids are an important investment in your hearing health and quality of life. That's why we work with trusted financing partners, including CareCredit® and Synchrony Bank, to help qualified patients spread the cost of their hearing aids into affordable monthly payments.
Depending on your credit approval, many patients may qualify for 6- to 12-month promotional financing with no interest if the balance is paid within the promotional period. Longer-term financing options may also be available depending on the financing provider and your individual credit qualifications.
If you're interested in financing, we'll gladly review your options during your consultation and help guide you through the application process. Our goal is to make better hearing as affordable and accessible as possible.
Please note: Financing options, promotional terms, and approval are determined by the financing company and are subject to credit approval.
Yes! We proudly service most major hearing aid brands—even if your hearing aids were purchased from another provider.
Depending on the manufacturer and model, we may be able to provide programming, adjustments, cleanings, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, firmware updates, and ongoing follow-up care.
If you're unsure whether we can service your hearing aids, simply contact us with the manufacturer and model number, and we'll be happy to discuss your options.
Real Ear Measurement (REM) is considered the gold standard for verifying hearing aid performance and is recommended by hearing care best practices.
Unlike simply programming hearing aids based on a hearing test alone, REM uses a tiny measurement microphone placed comfortably in your ear canal to measure exactly how sound is reaching your eardrum while you're wearing your hearing aids.
This allows us to verify that soft sounds are audible, conversational speech is clear, and louder sounds remain comfortable. Because every ear canal is different, REM helps ensure your hearing aids are programmed specifically for your ears—not just what the computer predicts.
We generally recommend having your hearing aids professionally cleaned and inspected every 4 to 6 months.
Routine maintenance helps remove wax and debris, replace worn components when needed, verify proper performance, and identify small issues before they become larger problems. Regular follow-up care can help extend the life of your hearing aids while keeping them performing at their best. We also recommend annual hearing evaluations* to monitor changes in your hearing and determine whether programming adjustments may be beneficial.
A hearing evaluation* and hearing aid consultation typically takes about 60 to 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time to discuss your hearing concerns, review your results, answer your questions, and explore the hearing solutions that best fit your lifestyle and communication needs.
Hearing aid fitting appointments generally take 60 to 90 minutes, as we carefully program your hearing aids, verify their performance using Real Ear Measurement (REM) when appropriate, demonstrate their features, pair compatible devices with your smartphone, and ensure you feel comfortable using your new hearing aids before we leave.
Routine follow-up appointments, programming adjustments, cleanings, and maintenance visits are usually completed in 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the services being performed.
Unlike many busy clinics, we don't believe in rushing appointments. We schedule enough time to provide personalized, one-on-one care, answer all of your questions, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
*Hearing evaluations are performed for the purpose of hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, and dispensing services.

Empathy Hearing Aid Center proudly partners with independent living communities, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care communities, and other senior living residences throughout Southern California.
We provide convenient on-site hearing evaluations*, hearing aid fittings, programming, maintenance, repairs, educational seminars, and ongoing hearing care, allowing residents to receive professional services without leaving their community.
As an independent hearing care provider, we work with many of today's leading hearing aid manufacturers rather than being limited to a single brand.
This allows us to recommend hearing solutions based on your hearing needs, lifestyle, communication goals, preferences, and budget.
We also service many existing hearing aids purchased elsewhere whenever possible.
Some insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before hearing services can be scheduled, while others do not.
If you're using insurance benefits, we'll gladly help determine your plan's requirements, verify your hearing aid benefits, and guide you through the process so you know exactly what to expect before your appointment.

Many modern hearing aids support remote programming and remote follow-up care.
For compatible hearing aids, we can often make programming adjustments, provide troubleshooting, answer questions, and perform certain follow-up services without requiring an in-person visit. Remote care offers added convenience for patients who travel frequently or simply prefer the flexibility of receiving support from home.
