Why Choose Empathy Hearing Aid Center?

Our Story

Choosing the Right Hearing Care Provider Matters

Choosing hearing care is about more than selecting a hearing aid—it's about finding a trusted provider who understands your unique hearing needs and is committed to helping you hear your best for years to come.

At Empathy Hearing Aid Center, we believe exceptional hearing care should be personal, convenient, and centered around each patient's individual lifestyle, communication goals, and long-term success. We take the time to listen, educate, and develop customized hearing solutions designed specifically for your needs—not a one-size-fits-all approach.

From your first consultation to ongoing follow-up care, our mission is to provide compassionate, relationship-based hearing care that helps you stay connected to the people and moments that matter most.

Our Commitment

At Empathy Hearing Aid Center, our mission is to make exceptional hearing care more accessible, convenient, and personal by bringing professional hearing services directly to your home.

Rather than asking patients to travel to a busy clinic, we bring advanced hearing care technology and personalized one-on-one attention directly to you. By combining mobile convenience with evidence-based hearing care, we strive to provide an experience that is both comfortable and uncompromising in quality.

We believe every patient deserves the time, education, and support necessary to make confident decisions about their hearing health. Our commitment doesn't end when your hearing aids are fitted—we're here to provide ongoing care and long-term support every step of the way.

Expert hearing care, right where you are.

Professional Care in the Comfort of Your Home

We understand that traveling to a hearing clinic can be difficult, inconvenient, or stressful for many patients. That's why we bring professional hearing care directly to the comfort and familiarity of your home.

Receiving care in your everyday environment often creates a more relaxed experience while allowing us to better understand the real-world listening situations you encounter each day. This personalized approach helps us recommend hearing solutions and make programming adjustments that better fit your lifestyle and communication needs.

Over 20 Years of Trusted Hearing Care Experience

For more than two decades, we've helped thousands of individuals improve their hearing and reconnect with the people and activities they enjoy most. Throughout our experience, we've worked with a wide variety of hearing losses, hearing aid styles, and listening challenges.

This extensive experience allows us to confidently recommend hearing solutions tailored to each patient's hearing needs, lifestyle, communication goals, and budget. Whether you're exploring hearing aids for the first time or looking to improve your current technology, we're here to guide you every step of the way.

Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences

Board Certification through the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) reflects a commitment to professional excellence, continuing education, and evidence-based hearing care.

We believe staying current with the latest hearing technology, fitting techniques, and industry best practices allows us to provide the highest level of care possible. Through ongoing education and manufacturer training, we continually expand our knowledge so we can offer our patients today's most advanced hearing solutions.

State-of-the-Art Mobile Technology

Our mobile hearing clinic is equipped with advanced portable hearing testing equipment, hearing aid programming systems, and Real Ear Measurement (REM) verification technology, allowing us to provide comprehensive hearing care wherever you are.

From hearing evaluations*, hearing aid fittings, programming, repairs, adjustments, verification, and follow-up care, we bring the same advanced technology you would expect from a traditional hearing clinic—without requiring you to leave your home.

Real Ear Measurement (REM) Verification

We utilize Real Ear Measurement (REM) technology whenever appropriate to help ensure your hearing aids are programmed specifically for your individual hearing needs. REM is considered the gold standard for verifying hearing aid performance and is recommended by hearing healthcare best practices.

Unlike simply programming hearing aids based on a hearing test alone, REM allows us to measure exactly how sound is being delivered inside your ear while you are wearing your hearing aids. Because every ear canal is unique in size and shape, two people with the same hearing loss can require different hearing aid settings.

During the verification process, a small, comfortable measurement microphone is temporarily placed in the ear canal while you wear your hearing aids. We then present a variety of speech sounds and measure how those sounds are amplified inside your ear. This allows us to verify that soft sounds are audible, conversational speech is clear, and loud sounds remain comfortable.

Because hearing aids are only as effective as they are programmed, we believe verification is one of the most important steps in achieving the best possible hearing outcome. By using Real Ear Measurement, we can make precise programming adjustments to maximize speech understanding, improve listening comfort, and reduce the need for unnecessary follow-up visits.

Personalized, Relationship-Based Care

At Empathy Hearing Aid Center, you're never treated like a number.

We don't believe in rushed appointments or high-pressure sales. Instead, we take the time to understand your hearing concerns, communication goals, lifestyle, and listening environments before making recommendations.

Every appointment is designed to be educational, collaborative, and focused on finding hearing solutions that fit your needs—not simply selling hearing aids.

Our goal is to build long-term relationships by providing honest recommendations, personalized care, and ongoing support throughout your hearing journey.

Support Beyond the Initial Fitting

Receiving your hearing aids is just the beginning of your journey toward better hearing.

We provide ongoing follow-up appointments, programming adjustments, professional cleanings, maintenance, troubleshooting, firmware updates for compatible hearing aids, and patient education to help ensure long-term success with your hearing technology.

We also recommend follow-up hearing evaluations* related to hearing aid programming and adjustment. As your hearing changes over time, we're here to ensure your hearing aids continue providing the best possible performance.

Independent Hearing Aid Recommendations

Unlike providers who represent only a single hearing aid manufacturer, Empathy Hearing Aid Center works with many of today's leading hearing aid brands.

This independence allows us to recommend hearing solutions based on your hearing loss, lifestyle, communication goals, cosmetic preferences, and budget—not because we're committed to selling one particular brand.

Our focus is always on helping you find the hearing solution that provides the greatest long-term success and the best overall value for your individual needs.

Award-Winning Experience

Owner Juan Bravo brings more than 20 years of hearing care experience and has been recognized for outstanding patient care throughout his career.

While working for a leading national hearing care organization, he was honored with the Provider of the Year award on two separate occasions for his commitment to clinical excellence, exceptional patient service, and professional achievement.

Today, that same dedication continues through Empathy Hearing Aid Center, where every patient receives personalized, relationship-focused hearing care designed around their individual needs.

Bilingual Care Available

We proudly provide hearing care services in both English and Spanish, helping patients and their families communicate comfortably throughout every stage of the hearing care process.

Whether discussing hearing test results, hearing aid technology, insurance benefits, follow-up care, or ongoing support, we're committed to ensuring every patient fully understands their hearing care options.

Clear communication leads to better understanding, greater confidence, and better hearing outcomes.

Hearing evaluations are performed for the purpose of selecting, fitting, and dispensing hearing aids.
